On June 9, the Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police said that in May 2026, the AI camera system monitoring traffic on National Highway 29 detected 188 cases of traffic order and safety violations.
According to statistics, the main violations are driving vehicles at speeds exceeding regulations and not complying with traffic light signals.
Specifically, the AI camera system recorded 97 cases of cars speeding. In addition, there were 91 cases of non-compliance with traffic light signals, including 69 cases of motorbikes and 22 cases of cars.
From the data collected by the surveillance camera system, the Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police has conducted verification and handled violations according to the provisions of law.
According to functional agencies, the total amount of fines for the above 188 violations is about 900 million VND. At the same time, functional forces also applied the form of deducting points from driver's licenses for 104 violations.
The Traffic Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police recommends that people when participating in traffic should strictly comply with regulations on speed, traffic lights and traffic safety assurance rules.
