A pair of sports cars appearing on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City quickly became the focus of the car-loving community. The duo includes Toyota 86 upgraded with Rocket Bunny wide body kit and Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray, each model pursues its own design style but both create a strong impression when rolling on the streets.
The most prominent in the pair is the Toyota 86 with the Rocket Bunny body kit from Japan. This upgrade brings a more aggressive appearance to the car through the extended wheel arches, front bumper and sporty spoiler, helping the coupe model clearly show the personality of the owner.
In addition, the Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray still retains its appeal thanks to the muscular design characteristic of the American sports car line. This is the seventh generation of the Corvette line, produced by Chevrolet from 2014 to 2019 and highly appreciated for the balance between operating performance and driving experience.
Corvette C7 Stingray uses a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 LT1 engine, producing a maximum power of 455 horsepower and a maximum torque of 620 Nm. When equipped with a high-performance exhaust system, the power can increase to 460 horsepower and 630 Nm. Thanks to that, this model has the ability to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just about 3.7 seconds.
In addition to powerful performance, the Corvette C7 is also equipped with an independent dual swingarm and optional magnetic shock absorber technology, bringing flexible operation and precise driving feeling.
Meanwhile, the Toyota 86 is equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder FA20 boxer engine, integrated with direct fuel injection technology. This engine block produces a maximum power of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 212 Nm, combined with the special rear-wheel drive system of the sports car line.
With a 6-speed manual transmission, the Toyota 86 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. The version using a 6-speed automatic transmission completes the same test in about 8.2 seconds.
The appearance of two sports car models with different styles on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City continues to show the appeal of high-performance car lines and the increasingly popular personalization trend in the car-loving community in Vietnam.
