Maserati MC20 is the model that marks the return of the Italian brand in the mid-size supercar segment. After being introduced in May 2020 and officially launched in Italy in September 2020, the car quickly became a hit with a 3.0L Maserati-developed V6 Nettuno engine.
This engine block produces 621 horsepower, 730 Nm of torque, combined with a dual-turbocharged system and direct fuel injection technology. The Nettuno engine is capable of reaching a maximum rotation of 8,000 rpm, providing powerful acceleration and efficient steering.
Appearing with the MC20 is the Ferrari 296 GTS - the convertible version of the 296 series, which is also a new generation plug-in hybrid model of Ferrari. In Vietnam, the 296 GTS has been brought in by many businesses with diverse color options.
The model uses a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine for 654 horsepower, combined with a 165 horsepower electric motor, creating a total capacity of 819 horsepower. The 7.45 kWh lithium-ion battery pack allows the 296 GTS to operate on pure electricity for about 25 km, supporting emission reduction in urban travel conditions.
Possessing great power, the Ferrari 296 GTS is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of more than 330 km/h. The appearance of this high-performance hybrid car, along with the Maserati MC20, creates an interesting contrast between the pure performance of the internal combustion engine and modern hybride technology on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City.
