On July 19, information from the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Province Police said that they had worked with Mr. L.C.H (residing in Ho Chi Minh City), owner of a car with license plate 52X-0734 to verify and handle the speeding violation.
Previously, through the traffic surveillance camera system, the authorities discovered that the car had violated the speed limit 17 times between April 11 and May 28. Through investigation, Mr. H admitted that he was the one who directly controlled the vehicle for all violations.
Notably, among the violations, there were 8 times when Mr. H drove a vehicle at a speed exceeding the prescribed speed limit by 20 to 35km/h. For the above behavior, Mr. H will be administratively fined a total of 101 million VND and have 4 points deducted from his driving license.
This is considered one of the cases that have been fined the highest amount in Gia Lai province since the beginning of 2025 due to repeated speeding violations.
Previously, on July 16, the Traffic Police Department also fined Mr. N.Q.D (born in 1982, residing in Tuy Phuoc Bac Commune) with a total amount of 67.7 million VND for 14 speeding violations.
According to the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Province Police, in addition to strictly punishing violations, the Traffic Police force also conducts special reminders and education for the above cases. Thereby, specifically analyzing the potential risks that may occur from speeding, helping drivers raise awareness and voluntarily comply with traffic laws.
