The Gumball 3000 supercar journey ended in Singapore on September 21. This is an event that brings together more than 100 million-dollar supercars from around the world.
However, owning a supercar is not enough. Those who want to participate in the Gumball 3000 journey must spend a lot of money.
Recently, the Autoevolution website revealed the amount of money needed to participate in this event.
Accordingly, Gumball 3000 participants spent an average of £200,000 (about 6.5 billion VND) to participate in the journey spanning 5 countries: Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. This amount does not include the cost of owning a car to participate in the event.
The entry fee for Gumball 3000 alone is around 2.5 billion VND. Other expenses that car owners need to pay for this year's trip include fuel, drinks, food, or costs for a co-driver, etc.
Additionally, car owners can also spend extra money as a donation to the Gumball 3000 fund to have one of the first starting positions.
On the starting day of September 15 in Ho Chi Minh City, the owner of the Ferrari 296 GTB from team 26 donated 118,888.88 pounds (about 3.65 billion VND) to have the first starting position.
