Bac Lieu police added that in November, there were 8 traffic accidents in the area, killing 6 people, injuring 6 people, and causing property damage of about 30 million VND.
Compared to October 2024, there was an increase of 1 case (8/7) = 14.3%, the number of deaths was the same (6/6), and the number of injuries increased by 4 (6/2) = 200%.
In the coming time, Bac Lieu police force will conduct a comprehensive review, detect and count drivers with drugs in their bodies and fight against drug-related crimes on traffic routes.
According to the plan, from now until mid-May 2025, the provincial police will increase patrols and controls, ensure traffic order and safety, effectively combat all types of crimes, especially drug-related crimes on traffic routes.
Strengthen coordination and exchange with functional forces, establish special projects to combat and handle violations of the law and drug-related crimes. Collect statistics on the number of traffic accidents involving drivers with drugs in their bodies, thereby developing patrol and control plans on complex routes with frequent traffic accidents...
