This is one of Ferrari's special upgrade packages for customers who want their car to have a clearer "racing" quality.
The exterior of the Ferrari 296 GTS impresses with its yellow paint color combined with a unique decorative strip inspired by the 250 Le Mans racing car. This strip extends from the front bumper, hood, roof, reach the power control rear spoiler and the entire rear spoiler. At the same time, many details are made from carbon fiber such as front bumpers, spoilers, side straps and wind diffusers, which help the car be lighter and create a sporty highlight.
The Assetto Fiorano package helps the car lose 12 kg compared to the standard version by replacing the structural details. Notably, the carbon rims come with high-performance Michelin Sport Cup2R tires, which are designed specifically for racing. In addition, the carbon door step with the words Assetto Fiorano also has a special identification.
In terms of performance, the Ferrari 296 GTS is equipped with a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine, producing 654 horsepower. When combined with an electric motor with a capacity of 165 horsepower, the total power reaches 819 horsepower. The vehicle also has a 7.45 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, allowing pure electric operation of about 25 km, contributing to improving environmental friendliness.
The acceleration capability of the 296 GTS is from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, with a maximum speed of over 330 km/h. The highlight of this convertible version is the hardtop system, which can be turned on/off in 14 seconds with a button press. When lowered, the roof is neatly kept behind the steering cabin, bringing a flexible and sporty experience to users.
