According to CarScoops, a rare story in the car world has attracted attention when 2 Dodge Demon cars in the US with the same VIN number were sold for a total price of 265,265 USD. This figure is equivalent to the price of a new Demon 170.
This sent shockwaves through the car community as Dodge discontinued the entire Challenger line, the HEMI V8 engine, and the famous Hellcat version.
The only way to get a new Demon is to buy a used one, and one smart buyer took the opportunity, snapping up two Demons with matching VINs.
The two vehicles include a 2018 Dodge Demon and a 2023 Demon 170, both with VIN #1636 and equipped with a supercharged V8 engine and manual transmission.
The 2018 model has just over 720 km, while the 2023 model has just over 20 km, almost brand new.
In terms of performance, the 2018 SRT Demon delivers a maximum power of 840 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,042 Nm.
Meanwhile, the Demon 170 is superior with a capacity of up to 1,025 horsepower and 1,279 Nm of torque, helping to strengthen the reputation of the Dodge muscle car line.
Both cars come equipped with signature SRT, Dodge and Demon accessories.
The 2018 Demon comes with the “Demon Crate” – a kit that includes a racing ECU, performance air filter, wireless impact wrench, guide wheel, tire pressure gauge and hydraulic floor jack.
The Demon 170 also has a set of wine bottles, engraved with the vehicle's exclusive VIN number. These are the factors that give these two vehicles value not only in engine power, but also in the level of completion and "unique" details.
