On February 24, the authorities removed a series of signs prohibiting parking on even days on National Highway 27, passing through Lac Lam commune, Don Duong district, Lam Dong province.
The signs prohibiting parking on even days have been removed, leaving only the pillars buried with concrete.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that on National Highway 27, the section passing through Lac Lam Commune is 1km long but has up to 23 signs with the content of prohibiting even-day parking.
It is worth mentioning that the signs are installed in rows and are dense. Every 2-3 houses have a sign erected right in front of a resident's house.
According to the People's Committee of Don Duong district, the installation of 23 signs prohibiting even-day parking was carried out by the Economic and Infrastructure Department of Don Duong district.
The new construction ban signs have not yet been accepted. After receiving the feedback, the leaders of the People's Committee of Don Duong district directed the removal of these unreasonable signs.
In response to the above incident, Mr. Nguyen Van Gia - Director of the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said that the placement of the above sign is not wrong, but quite machine. The Department will have a document requesting appropriate adjustments.
According to Mr. Gia, for this road section, if there is only a sign prohibiting parking on even days and an additional sign clearly stating the validity of the route, the driver will understand.
After receiving the report, the People's Committee of Don Duong district directed the authorities to dismantle the unreasonable signs placed on National Highway 27 (section belonging to Lac Lam commune).
