Instead of using a carbon fiber monocoque frame like the Lamborghini Revuelto or its rivals from McLaren, the Lamborghini Temerario has an improved aluminum space frame, which helps the car increase torsional stiffness by 25% compared to the Huracan, while reducing components by 50% and heat welds by 80%.
Designed from the ground up to optimize the new hybrid powertrain, the chassis still ensures the high load-bearing capacity and necessary rigidity.
Lamborghini has equipped the Temerario with a unique rear engine mount, suitable for the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, making the car not only more durable but also improving handling and increasing comfort.
The highlight of the new design is the powertrain with a V8 engine that produces 789 horsepower from 9,000 to 9,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 730 Nm. Combined with 3 electric motors, the total capacity of the Temerario is up to 907 horsepower, capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of 343 km/h.
The Lamborghini Temerario is expected to start at $357,621 in the US, excluding a $4,000 destination fee. That’s about $24,000 more than the Huracan, and deliveries are expected to begin next year.
