Kia Carnival Hybrid officially received orders at dealers from January 6, 2025 and is expected to be delivered to customers before the Lunar New Year 2025.
The Carnival Hybrid is equipped with a 1.6L SmartStream turbocharged engine with an electric motor, for a combined capacity of up to 242 horsepower and 569 Nm of torque. According to the company's announcement, the fuel consumption of the new model is only about 4.95 liters/100 km. This is an outstanding fuel consumption level for a large-sized vehicle, while meeting the goal of reducing emissions and being environmentally friendly.
In addition, the Carnival Hybrid also has an additional energy regeneration brake feature. Customers can customize the energy regeneration brake level (increase or decrease the regeneration brake level) through the rear steering wheel gear shift when the vehicle operates in Eco/Smart mode. This version also features an additional windshield under the front bumper with an automatic opening and closing function according to operating conditions, helping to increase aerodynamic performance and save fuel.
The exterior of the Kia Carnival Hybrid is not much different from the versions using pure internal combustion engines currently on the market, except for the HEV logo. The car still retains the same size of 5,155 x 2,010 x 1,775 mm (length x width x height) with a front and rear LED lighting design inspired by the image of Star-map star clusters; 19inch sports wheels, designed with 3D graphics and gray paint instead of black wheels like the Diesel version.
