Mercedes-Benz has confirmed the name of the next-generation concept of the Vito and V-Class trucks. The Vision V model is expected to launch in 2025, before being launched on the market in 2026.
The car company also released an introduction to the new model but did not disclose many details about the car. We can only see a large Mercedes-Benz symbol and the Vision V badge, which can be placed on the rear of the truck. Above is a red LED light, which may be a part of the taillight of the new model.
Mercedes-Benz said: "The Vision V model is Mercedes-Benz Vans' vision of combining spacious seamlessness with maximum monopoly. The vehicle will combine traditional materials with super-moderate design elements, breakthrough technology and unique style".
Vision V's foundation is the Van Electric Architecture (VAN.EA) electric vehicle architecture with new expansion capabilities, bringing the brand flexibility to create basic family cars, VIP pick-up and drop-off cars and spacious and luxurious limousines.
Mercedes-Benz also confirmed that high-end versions of the new model will be able to travel more than 311 miles (500 km) on a single charge. Initially, the company will launch a new model with a level 2 self-driving system, 2 models equipped with level 3 and level 4 will be launched on the market 1 day later.
