Son La Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 968/QD-UBND on regulations on standards and norms for car use of agencies, organizations and units in Son La province.
This decision stipulates standards and norms for the use of specialized vehicles, which are vehicles with special structures (vehicles transporting money, gold, silver, precious stones; vehicles equipped with laboratory equipment, cranes, garbage collection and compression vehicles, garbage and waste transport vehicles...) according to Decree No. 72/2023/ND-CP of the Government.
Accordingly, some wards and towns in the following districts are granted 1 truck to manage urban order: Bac Yen, Mai Son, Moc Chau, Quynh Nhai, Yen Chau districts and Son La city.
Communes and towns in Muong La, Thuan Chau, Phu Yen, Sop Cop and Van Ho districts are not equipped with public cars.
Son La Provincial People's Committee assigned the implementation as follows:
Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, cities, agencies, organizations and units are responsible for properly implementing regulations on standards and norms for equipping cars as prescribed in this Decision; at the same time, publicly implementing the equipping, management and use of cars in accordance with norms and current regulations.
Fully and accurately update vehicle data after review and processing into the national database of public assets.
In case of changes in the assigned functions and tasks of agencies and units under the provincial departments, branches, sectors and equivalents and the People's Committees of districts and cities; the departments, branches, sectors, and the People's Committees of districts and cities shall review and report to the Department of Finance to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for decision on adjusting the standards and norms for the use of specialized vehicles.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Finance to take full responsibility for the content and data submitted to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the Decision on regulations on standards and norms for the use of automobiles by agencies, organizations and units in Son La province. Proactively organize inspections and checks if violations or problems are detected, promptly report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for timely direction and resolution, and at the same time take full responsibility for the conclusions of the inspection, examination and auditing agencies and State law enforcement agencies.
Review and rearrange the existing number of cars of agencies, organizations, and units of the People's Committees of districts and cities; handle surplus cars to ensure compliance with standards and norms according to regulations.
Urge the full updating of car data after review and processing into the National Database on Public Assets.
