Bac Ninh Police said that from July 11, 2025 to July 17, 2025, the Traffic Police Department, Bac Ninh Provincial Police recorded Hanoi license plate vehicles violating the following violations:
Car running a red light:
30A-676.17; 29H-043.85; 30F-785.87; 30H-936.09; 30F-328.11.
Cars turning left at places with no turning left signs:
29K-032.71; 29A-341.97; 29C-496.33; 30M-913.86.
Cars encroaching on lanes, crossing lines:
30K-682.92; 30A-533.54; 29H-045.76; 30A-256.76; 29B-302.61; 29B-614.87.
Thanh Hoa Police also said that from July 1 to July 10, the police will fine vehicles with Hanoi license plates for violations as follows:
The Ministry of Public Security said that traffic violators can go to the traffic police department where people live or where they are found to be violating to resolve fines.
However, the Traffic Police Department informed that currently, people are gathering at the headquarters to handle violations of fines in large numbers, some places are overloaded and people have to wait a long time.
To create the most favorable conditions for people, without having to wait and travel far, the Traffic Police Department recommends:
People proactively look for fines. If there is a violation, people need to go to the traffic police department where they have permanent residence to handle it, should not go to the place where the violation was discovered in another locality, which is both overloading the authorities and requiring long trips.

The police note that the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulating administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points take effect from January 1, 2025.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety order have increased fines compared to before, such as drivers running red lights being fined 18-20 million VND (old level was 4-6 million VND). The violation of not wearing a helmet is subject to a fine of 400,000 VND to 600,000 VND.
The police recommend that people continue to raise awareness of voluntarily complying with traffic laws, for their own safety and that of others.
