Not only stopping at the quantity, the quality and rarity of the car lines appearing this year have shown the strong investment of the domestic car enthusiast. Names such as Lamborghini Revuelto, Ferrari 296, Porsche 911 Dakar or McLaren Artura, ... became the focus of attention when contributing to shaping the supercar trend in the new period.
Among them, the Lamborghini Revuelto is the model that received the most attention. Although it has appeared in Vietnam since 2024 as a temporary import-export, it will not be until 2025 that this model will officially have the first one to complete registration for Vietnamese customers. This is Lamborghini's first plug-in hybrid supercar (PHEV), opening the brand's electrification era. With the advantage of power and technology, Revuelto directly competes with the Ferrari SF90 - a car model that has made its mark in Vietnam with about 8 cars appearing in just a few years.
The Lamborghini Revuelto uses a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine with a capacity of 825 horsepower. Combined with three electric motors, the total capacity reaches 1,015 horsepower, helping the car take only 2.5 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h and reach a maximum speed of 350 km/h. This is also one of the rare commercial supercar models to reach the power level of over 1,000 horsepower in Vietnam.
On Ferrari's side, 2025 will mark the strong arrival of the 296 series, with nearly 8 units brought in. The most notable of which is a Ferrari 296 GTS with a special personalized package. The Rosso F1-75 red paint color - the red associated with the F1-75 that won in Bahrain in 2022 has a deep mark in Ferrari's racing history. This 296 also stands out thanks to its blurred effects Blu Corsa strip and unique red carbon details in the interior, expressing the owner's clear personal taste.
The Ferrari 296 GTS is equipped with a twin-turbocharged V6 engine of 3.0L for 654 horsepower, combined with a 165 horsepower electric motor, bringing the total capacity to 819 horsepower. The car is capable of traveling purely electrically for about 25 km - a strength rarely seen on high-performance convertible supercars.
Not as big as Revuelto or 296, but the appearance of Porsche 911 Dakar, McLaren Artura and especially Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years also contributed to enriching the Vietnamese sports car market this year.
The 911 Dakar is a off-road vehicle based on the 911 platform, limited production, aimed at customers who love the experience. Meanwhile, 911 Turbo 50 Years - the version celebrating the 50th anniversary of the birth of the Turbo line, limited to 1,974 units - has had its first domestic car with serial number 499/1,974.
In addition to the above models, the 2025 supercar market in Vietnam is also bustling when recording the appearance of at least two Ferrari 812 GTS convertible cars. This is a traditional Ferrari naturally aspirated V12 engine, increasingly rare in the context of companies switching to hybrids and electrification.
Overall, 2025 marks a strong development step for the car enthusiast community in Vietnam. Not only are high-performance cars appearing more and more, but the trend of personalization and choosing special configurations has also become a highlight, reflecting the aesthetic taste and increasing investment of domestic car collectors.
