The Porsche 911 GT3 991.2 has recently been recorded to have reappeared on the streets of Vietnam, marking a rare time this high-performance sports car model has been witnessed by the public after a long absence.
The Porsche 911 GT3 line in the domestic market currently has about eight units, most of which are from the new 992 generation. Among them, version 991.2 was officially imported in 2018, considered a rare item, rarely appearing on the streets or at car events.
This car has a striking yellow exterior, using a 5-spoke double-spoke xeam with a high-performance braking system. The brake clips are painted yellow in sync with the body, behind which is a large spoiler with a typical design of the 991 generation GT3.
When distributed in Vietnam in 2018, this model cost about 11 billion VND, excluding upgrade options and rolling costs. Currently, the value of the car is difficult to determine due to its rarity and the fact that the owner has almost no intention of transferring it.
In terms of performance, the Porsche 911 GT3 991.2 uses a 4.0L naturally aspirated, naturally aspirated 6-cylinder engine, producing a maximum capacity of 500 horsepower and 458 Nm of torque. The car has 2 transmission options including a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed PDK dual clutch.
With the PDK transmission, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, 0.6 seconds faster than the manual version. However, the manual transmission version reached a higher maximum speed, at 318 km/h and a lighter weight of nearly 17 kg than the PDK version.
Porsche 911 GT3 991.2 continues to affirm its position as a racing sports car, highly appreciated by domestic car enthusiasts for its uniqueness, performance and design.
