Ferrari 812 GTS convertible supercar first appeared in Vietnam

Thanh Vũ |

After much information about "arriving" in Vietnam, the Ferrari 812 GTS supercar appeared for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City.

The image of a Ferrari 812 GTS supercar covered with a tarpaulin appeared in a garage specializing in repairing supercars in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the first time the Ferrari 812 Superfast has appeared in Vietnam and this has received a lot of attention from the car enthusiast community.

More than a year ago, rumors emerged that the Ferrari 812 GTS would arrive in Vietnam. This information attracted the attention of car enthusiasts. However, at that time, there were no authentic images of the appearance of this supercar in the country, only photos of the car being transported by specialized vehicles abroad.

Recently, the importer shared a picture of the Ferrari 812 GTS in its garage. Although it was covered with a tarpaulin, the car's distinctive design was still easily recognizable.

This Ferrari 812 GTS has a unique Rosso 70th Anniversary red paint color. Compared to the 2 Ferrari 812 Superfasts already available in Vietnam, the 812 GTS has the advantage of a roof that can be opened/closed in just 14 seconds, making the car both a coupe and a convertible.

When it was launched, the Ferrari 812 GTS cost more than $450,000 (about 10.5 billion VND). However, the selling price has increased slightly because this model has been discontinued. The on-road cost of the car will depend on the type of license plate the car uses.

The Ferrari 812 GTS is equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 engine, with a maximum capacity of 789 horsepower and a maximum torque of 718 Nm. This supercar can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 8.3 seconds.

The car's top speed is also impressive at 340 km/h. These parameters are almost identical to the Ferrari 812 Superfast version, although the 812 GTS is heavier due to the additional roof compartment design.
