After the Gumball 3000 journey set off, a Singaporean car owner encountered an incident.
Accordingly, the Ferrari Roma Spider convertible supercar driven by Ms. Choo Hui Xuan, from Singapore, was traveling with two friends from Le Loi Avenue to Cu Chi (HCMC) on September 15. When the car passed through National Highway 22 (through Hoc Mon district), to avoid a motorbike, the female driver swerved out and collided with the median strip.
As a result, the passenger side tire was torn. The Singaporean female driver then tried to control the car and found a garage to handle the problem.
This garage owner and his friends then helped find the correct tire specifications for the Ferrari Roma Spider convertible supercar and handled it.
Fortunately, this Ferrari Roma Spider accident resulted in no casualties.
It is known that in addition to the torn tire, the convertible supercar also had a small broken corner on the front side of the car, causing the decal to peel off.
After fixing the problem for more than an hour, Choo Hui Xuan continued driving his car and quickly returned to the Gumball 3000 group.
The Ferrari Roma Spider uses a 3.9-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces a maximum power of 621 horsepower and a maximum torque of 760 Nm. The car accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of over 320 km/h.
