The Temerario version is the successor to the Lamborghini Huracan after 11 years of being demolished. Temerario is also the third model in the company's high-performance electrification products, preceded by the Revuelto and Urus SE lines.
According to the company, the unit decided to eliminate the 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine and replace it with a 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine to reduce emissions when increasing capacity and towards electrification in all products. This engine has a V-shaped turbocharged configuration taken from the SC63 Le Mans Hypercar with a capacity of 789 horsepower, 730 Nm of torque at9,000-4.750 rpm.
The Temerario is equipped with three electric motors, one of which is between a V8 engine and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that acts as a starting position. The other two engines are located on the front axle, creating a 4-wheel drive system with a total capacity of 907 horsepower.
Therefore, the Lamborghini Temerario is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds (0.000 seconds faster than the Lamborghini Huracan).
The company said that the engine has a limited torque of 10,000 rpm and is one of the engines with the highest torque in the world. However, the engine is still safe because the cylinder diameter is up to 90 mm, the handlebars are made of aluminum cast on the racing car with titanium alloy and carbon-like diamond valves.
The Lamborghini Temerario uses a 3.8 kWh battery pack to power the entire electric motor. However, up to now, Lamborghini has not revealed the scope of operation of this new model.
The use of a new aluminum chassis is 20% more stiff than the Huracan, causing the car's rough weight to reach 1,690 kg, heavier than the Huracan Evo 268 kg and the Ferrari 296 GTB 220 kg. However, with this equipment, the Temerario will become more durable and safer.
The interior of the car uses carbon fiber, genuine leather, and fake leather. The flat-bottleneck steering wheel is integrated with many quick-adjusted physical buttons. In addition, the car is equipped with three screens: a 12.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel, an 8.4-inch center-field entertainment screen and a 9.1-inch passenger seat screen.
In addition, personalized parts allow customers to choose 4 different chair-studded road models with unlimited colors. The exterior also has more than 400 colors and different special paint layers.
Currently, Lamborghini Temerario has not announced the price of Temerario but only for display at Monterey Car Week 2024 and is expected to be delivered to the first customers in early 2025.
