The Temerario version is the successor to the Lamborghini Huracan after 11 years of its death. Temerario is also the third model in the company's high-performance electrified products, preceded by the Revuelto and Urus SE lines.
According to information from the company, the company decided to eliminate the 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine, replacing it with a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine to reduce emissions when increasing capacity and move towards electrification in the future. every product. This engine has a V-shaped turbocharger configuration taken from the SC63 Le Mans Hypercar with a capacity of 789 horsepower, 730 Nm of torque at 9,000-9,750 rpm.
Temerario is equipped with three electric motors, of which one motor located between the V8 engine and the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission acts as the starter. Two other motors are located on the front axle, creating a 4-wheel drive system with a total capacity of 907 horsepower.
Because of this, the Lamborghini Temerario is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds (0.2 seconds faster than the Lamborghini Huracan).
The company said that the engine is limited to 10,000 rpm and is one of the highest revving engines in the world. However, the engine is still safe because the cylinder diameter is up to 90 mm, the crankcase is made of cast aluminum like on a racing car, with titanium connecting rods and carbon-like diamond-coated valves.
Lamborghini Temerario uses a 3.8 kWh battery to provide power for the entire electric motor. However, up to now, Lamborghini has not yet revealed the operating range of this new model.
The use of a new aluminum chassis that is 20% stiffer than the Huracan makes the car's gross weight up to 1,690 kg, 268 kg heavier than the Huracan Evo and 220 kg heavier than the Ferrari 296 GTB. However, with this equipment, Temerario will become stronger and safer.
The car's interior uses carbon fiber, real leather, and faux leather. The flat-bottomed three-spoke steering wheel is integrated with many quick-adjust physical buttons. In addition, the car is equipped with three screens including: a 12.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel, an 8.4-inch central entertainment screen and a 9.1-inch screen for the passenger seat.
In addition, personalization components allow customers to choose from 4 different seat stitching patterns with unlimited colors. The exterior also has more than 400 different colors and special paint finishes.
Currently, Lamborghini Temerario has not announced the price of Temerario but is only for display at the 2024 Monterey car week event and is expected to be delivered to the first customers in early 2025.
