According to CarNewsChina, Shenzhen-based automaker BYD is actively promoting its Disus-X suspension system in China. This system will first debut on the YangWang U9 supercar in 2024. With this system, YangWang U9 models can literally bounce when starting.
BYD has just released a video demonstrating the capabilities of this suspension system, allowing cars to dance, fly over obstacles on the road, or run on only 3 wheels. However, this marketing effort is backfiring when many drivers test it on public roads.
Also in a video that has received a lot of attention on social media, a red YangWang U9 is seen bouncing in the middle of the street. Around it, a large crowd of people are standing watching, taking pictures, and filming videos. Behind the electric supercar, there is at least one other car that has stopped.
A few minutes later, a police car appeared to fine the driver and disperse the crowd.
