The Traffic Police Department (Traffic Police, Ministry of Public Security) has informed about the results of the auction of license plates on the first day of Session 7.
Accordingly, on June 13, the Director of the Traffic Police Department signed a decision approving the plan for the 7th license plate auction (total of 1,235,835 license plates of 34 localities) and has posted it according to regulations.
On July 18, the Traffic Police Department coordinated with VPA Company to successfully auction 1,108 license plates with a total amount of nearly 59 billion VND. Of which, 391 car license plates were auctioned for nearly 48 billion VND; 717 motorcycle license plates were auctioned for nearly 11 billion VND.
The license plates with high winning prices on the day include: License plate 51M-777.77 with winning price of 3.1 billion VND; license plate 38A-899.99 with winning price of over 1 billion VND; license plate 19A-999.99 with winning price of nearly 3.9 billion VND; license plate 30B-399.99 with winning price of over 1.2 billion VND; license plate 37K-799.99 with winning price of over 980 million VND.
The license plates of motorbikes and mopeds with the highest winning prices include: License plate 19AA-599.99 with the winning price of nearly 378 million VND; license plate 50AD-222.22 with the winning price of 244 million VND; license plate 89AA-899.99 with the winning price of over 500 million VND; license plate 81AA-888.88 with the winning price of over 422 million VND; license plate 49AA-777.77 with the winning price of over 270 million VND.
Also according to the Traffic Police Department, after 6 auctions (from September 15, 2023 to present), the Traffic Police Department has collected nearly VND6,600 billion from license plate auctions to pay to the state budget.
