Coordinate all efforts, organize the exam continuously until 9:00 p.m. every day
According to Lao Dong reporters, these days, at the Cu Chi Driving Test Center, the exam atmosphere is serious and orderly. Candidates will be guided early by the center's staff to choose the theory and practice exam flow. The Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police force coordinated to directly monitor the competition areas to ensure correct procedures, publicity and transparency.

Speaking to reporters, Lieutenant Colonel Ha Van Thanh, Deputy Team of the Driving License Test Team (PC08 Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police) said that since May 2025 - the time of receiving the driving license from the Department of Transport (now the Department of Construction), PC08 has organized about 220 test sessions with more than 70,000 participants, including about 40,000 cars and 30,000 motorbikes.
Currently, the whole city has about 60,000 candidates who have completed the training program but have not been tested, including 37,000 car and 23,000 motorbike records. PC08 Department has mobilized maximum test takers, organizing 9 test exams per day with more than 6,000 candidates attending. The test council works continuously from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., including Saturdays and Sundays. The goal is to complete the testing and grant licenses to all eligible candidates by July 30," emphasized the representative of PC08.
People are satisfied, the test is taken seriously and smoothly
At Cu Chi Examination Center - one of 38 examination organizing centers in Ho Chi Minh City, preparation work has been accelerated in terms of both human resources and technical infrastructure. Mr. Doan Quoc Bao, Permanent Deputy Director of the Cu Chi Driving Test Center, shared: "This is the peak period of the test, so the Center has proactively increased equipment and human resources and arranged additional exam schedules this week to meet people's needs. We closely coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police force in supervision work, ensuring that exams take place seriously, transparently and according to procedures.

Despite the great pressure caused by the large number of records, the team of cadres, examiners and support forces always try their best to help people take the exam and get a new certificate on schedule. The goal is to prevent anyone from missing their rights due to slow organization of the test".

In reality, organizing exams during the peak period has received consensus from the people. On July 20, Ms. Tran Thi Hang (26 years old, living in Nghe An) shared: "I have registered to study and take the exam since April. Before, I thought I would have to wait a long time to take the exam, but the center called for the exam very quickly. This morning, I found the atmosphere serious but not too stressful, the analysts and traffic police all created conditions for me to do well. Everything went smoothly, I did my homework much more confidently than when I was studying. The decoration of the competition is still exciting, but I feel very happy because I see that my efforts and the past time have been recognized".

Previously, on July 17, the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) issued a directive requesting all traffic police departments, testing centers and driving training facilities nationwide to urgently organize exams, issue driving licenses, and resolve all backlog documents before July 30, 2025. At the same time, driver's license data is also integrated into the electronic identification system for management via the VNeID application.
