According to the company, the RSV4 X ex3ma is inspired by the MotoGP racing motorcycle equipped with the world's first ground-effect aerodynamics. This is the latest model in the series of limited edition racing superbikes from Aprilia, following the RSV4 Xtrenta and RSV4 X models.
The RSV4 X ex3ma is equipped with an aerodynamic bodykit developed by Aprilia's MotoGP racing team. The aerodynamic kit includes a 550mm wide front wing, creating 5 times more downforce than the Aprilia X Thirty. Previously, this ground-effect aerodynamic technology was only available on the RS-GP 24 model, which is specialized for competing in MotoGP.
The shape of the fairing faces on the RSV4 X ex3ma helps to take advantage of the air pressure between the ground and the vehicle to increase road grip. The front wing is designed in MotoGP style and the spoiler on the front fender also increases aerodynamic efficiency.
The front end is similar to the RS-GP 24 MotoGP race bike. The black bodywork is inspired by the history of the Aprilia racing team and pays tribute to the RS 250 race bike.
The RSV4 X ex3ma is powered by a 1,099cc 65-degree Aprilia V-four engine that produces 230 horsepower at 13,500 rpm; maximum torque of 131 Nm. Compression ratio adjustment with a high-permeability Sprint air filter and an SC Project exhaust system help limit the engine's revs to 13,900 rpm.
The car uses a pair of carbon wheels to reduce the overall weight, while increasing acceleration and braking performance. Other performance-enhancing parts of the car, such as the large water and oil coolers, are all built to racing specifications.
Additionally, the bike features a right-hand handlebar switch; adjustable footrests; and a clutch lever, engine cover, and front brake lever guard all crafted from billet aluminum.
The Aprilia RSV4 X ex3ma superbike is limited to only 30 units worldwide. Customers who order these vehicles will receive their vehicles in Italy. In addition, when ordering, customers will receive an exclusive tour of the Aprilia Racing Division.
According to information from the company, customers in Vietnam can also pre-order Aprilia RSV4 X ex3ma via Aprilia's homepage.
