The Gumball 3000 2024 event will take place in 5 Southeast Asian countries: Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, and has quickly attracted the attention of international media. Le Loi Avenue in Vietnam was chosen as the starting point for the 25th anniversary of Gumball 3000. The starting date will start from September 14.
The event is only 2 weeks away. However, the constant changes in information about the Gumball 3000 2024 car lineup have left many car enthusiasts restless. Accordingly, the two Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg Jesko cars expected to be driven by the founder of Gumball 3000 could not come to Vietnam.
There are even rumors that the Bugatti Chiron and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport owned by a Cambodian owner will not come to Vietnam to attend. However, according to the latest information, these two megacars will arrive in Vietnam via Moc Bai border gate (Tay Ninh province) on September 14 to attend the departure ceremony.
The owners of these two cars confirmed this information this morning (August 31), during the Phnom Penh to Siem Reap supercar event. This event gathered nearly 30 supercars and sports cars of all kinds to prepare for a short journey to Siem Reap with the goal of promoting Gumball 3000.
The owner of the Bugatti Chiron changed his mind when the founder of the Gumball 3000 journey suggested that it would be more complete for him to attend the departure ceremony, instead of waiting in Cambodia for the convoy to arrive.
So, there are now 4 super cars participating in the Gumball 3000 2024 journey in Vietnam, namely Bugatti Chiron, Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, Koenigsegg Regera and Pagani Huayra BC Roadster. The Thai supercar Porsche Carrera GT will most likely stay to welcome the group.
