Compared to the Porsche 718 Cayman, which has had more than 50 appearances in the domestic market, the GT4 RS variation is priced many times higher and has outstanding performance. Porsche enthusiasts say the GT4 RS makes the 911 versions less attractive thanks to its powerful performance.
In terms of design, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS stands out with a new body kit, including front bumpers, roofs, tailings and a sports tricycle, giving a sporty and aerodynamic look much better than the standard version. However, the real highlight of this model is the powertrain.
The GT4 RS is equipped with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated 6-cylinder boxer engine, similar to the Porsche 911 GT3 992. This engine produces a maximum capacity of 493 horsepower, 449 Nm of torque and a maximum torque of 9,000 rpm. Compared to the Cayman GT4, the GT4 RS is 79 horsepower and 29 Nm of torque, although the power is still slightly lower than the 911 GT3.
The car uses a 7-speed PDK gearbox only with a shorter transmission ratio, helping it accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a maximum speed of 315 km/h. With outstanding performance and impressive design, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is expected to be a highlight in the sports car community in Vietnam.
