The Hongqi EHS7 electric crossover model has up to 5 versions with different operating range.

Hongqi has just introduced the EHS7 model in the domestic market and exported to some countries. The high-chassis electric vehicle is positioned as a pure electric mid-size SUV. The car is developed based on Hongqi's Tiangong platform, which is the platform of compact sedan, crossover/SUV, MPV models.

The EHS7 model has specifications of 4,925 x 1,950 x 1,680 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. This size is smaller than the Hyundai Palisade (4,995 x 1,975 x 1,785 mm) and larger than the Santa Fe (4,830 x 1,900 x 1,720 mm). However, the wheelbase of the new model is larger than the other two models.

The headlight cluster is inspired by the number 7, while the taillights have a similar design to the VinFast VF7. This electric SUV has up to 6 exterior paint colors; uses a compressed air suspension and has a rear-wheel steering system. The rotation medium is 5,300 mm and the rear wheel rotation is maximum 8 degrees.

The interior of the EHS7 is different from most of today's electric vehicles. The company uses a 15.5-inch embedded screen, connected to a 6-inch digital cluster. The vehicle is equipped with iFlytek's latest AI voice recognition system - this system supports image creation, text, and achieves natural voice effects.

The front and second rows of seats have integrated heating and cooling; the driver's seat has additional massage features. The interior is covered with leather on the highest version, the remaining versions use synthetic leather.

EHS7 is available in 3 battery packages: 75 kWh, 85 kWh, 111 kWh in the Chinese market. The 75 kWh version has a range of 520 km, supporting DC fast charging in 25 minutes. The 85 kWh battery with 2 options of range: 605 km (1 electric motor) and 565 km (2 electric motor), supports DC fast charging in 20 minutes. The 111 kWh battery has an operating range of up to 730 km (1 electric motor) and 680 km (2 electric motor), DC fast charging in 20 minutes.

According to the plan, Hongqi EHS7 is sold in China for 32,800-46,400 USD (about 832 million - 1 billion 177 million VND).
