Recently, the Cau Giay District Police (Hanoi) dismantled a group of fraudsters who appropriated assets, led by Pho Duc Nam (Mr. Pips). According to the investigation team, Pho Duc Nam is a person who has been trained in information technology, has knowledge of finance and securities, and especially has very good foreign language skills.
To build his reputation, Mr Pips often shows off expensive supercars and sports cars on social networks.

Authorities confiscated and froze many assets of Pho Duc Nam, estimated at more than 5,200 billion VND. Among them were 31 supercars, sports cars, luxury SUVs from many famous brands in the world and 7 large-displacement motorcycles.
Among these, there are many unique cars in Vietnam such as the Nissan GT-R Nismo Special Edition, limited to 300 units worldwide, imported into the country in February 2023 by a famous luxury car showroom. This is also the unit that imported and sold Mr. Pips many supercars and sports cars.
A unique version in Vietnam in Mr Pips's car collection is the Mazda Miata MX-5, priced at more than 3 billion VND, imported from the US last year (2023). The car belongs to the RF (Retractable Fastback) variant with a retractable roof similar to Porsche's Targa.
The Mercedes-Benz A 45 S arrived in Vietnam in 2020, but until now there has been no second car.

The most expensive car in this collection is the Rolls-Royce Cullinan with a four-digit number plate 3. This is the car that often appears in Mr Pips' videos on social networks.
This "super scammer" also has 3 different Jaguars including 2 new Jaguar F-Type cars, the only genuine imported cars, the total value of 2 cars is nearly 12 billion VND, and 1 old Jaguar F-Type Convertible car is more than 4 billion VND.
Pho Duc Nam also owns the only unofficially imported Mercedes-AMG GT-R, the first Ferrari Roma supercar in Vietnam, the only red Porsche 911 Turbo S in Vietnam; Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-AMG G63, Porsche Taycan Turbo S, Porsche Panamera, VinFast Lux A, Mercedes E200, Lexus RX350, Kia Carnival, Lexus LM350,...

The large-displacement motorcycles that were temporarily seized include: Harley-Davidson Low Rider El Diablo limited to 1,500 units, MV Agusta Rush 1000 with only 300 units produced, Honda CB1100, Honda CB1300, KTM Duke 390, Honda Dax 125.
