The appearance of this convertible sports car model marks the rapid approach of the domestic market with new generation high-end car lines.
The car appeared with a convertible configuration (Cabriolet), belonging to the new version of Porsche Vietnam officially introduced in March this year. Compared to the previous generation (992.1), Porsche 911 992.2 possesses many upgrades in terms of design, technology and performance. In Vietnam market, the starting price for the convertible version is from 9.64 billion dong. However, after adding the options and rolling costs, the actual figure that the owner must pay can be up to nearly 12 billion.
In terms of design, the Porsche 911 992.2 has a refined front bumper, more spacious air vents, and a new rear fender fender cluster with a new look. These changes contribute to increasing aerodynamics and bringing a more modern look to the famous two-door sports car of the German brand.
The interior has also undergone notable improvements. The digital cluster behind the steering wheel has been upgraded to a 12.6-inch screen, supporting many classic-style display interfaces familiar to Porsche users. The 10.9-inch central screen with an upgraded PCM operating system integrates deeper Apple CarPlay connectivity with many music streaming apps. Notably, the traditional mechanical key has been removed and replaced with a modern Start/Stop button.
The Porsche 911 992.2 convertible uses a 3.0L twin-turbocharged boxer engine, producing 388 horsepower and a maximum torque of 450 Nm, slightly higher than the previous version. Thanks to that, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of 294 km/h.
Porsche 911 has long been a popular sports car. The new versions quickly appear on the street show the stable attraction of this car. The 911 992.2 convertible with Hanoi license plate may be one of the first ones in Vietnam, continuing to strengthen the position of the Porsche brand in the luxury sports car segment.
