As Lao Dong reported on December 1, Do Thin pig farm in Zone 3, Phong Chau ward discharged black wastewater causing pollution to ponds and fields in Zone 1, causing people here to be upset and worried.

Regarding this, on December 1, the Department of Culture - Sports & Tourism of Phu Tho province issued document No. 2451/SVHTT&DL-QLBCXB on - transferring the content of the press reflection to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Phong Chau Ward People's Committee to organize verification and handling according to regulations; at the same time, send the verification and handling results to the Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism for monitoring, synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee.
Immediately after receiving the document from the Department of Culture - Sports & Tourism, on December 1, the People's Committee of Phong Chau Ward issued Document No. 1092/UBND-KTHT&DT on assigning the task of inspection, verification, and proposing to handle the case published by Lao Dong Newspaper.

The document directing the People's Committee of Phong Chau Ward stated that in order to have a basis to report to the Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism and the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province about the incident published by Lao Dong Newspaper: "Pork farm discharges waste, causing people's fields and ponds to be heavily polluted", the People's Committee of Phong Chau Ward requested departments and units to implement a number of contents:

Firstly, Phong Chau Ward People's Committee proposed that the Ward Police continue to implement the contents of Document No. 1068/UBND-KTHT&DT dated November 28, 2025 of the Ward People's Committee:
"The People's Committee assigned the Ward Police to preside over and coordinate with the Economic, Infrastructure & Urban Affairs Department, and related units to conduct inspections, verify the level of violations and propose solutions according to current regulations, report to Phong Chau Ward People's Committee for consideration and decision; Urgently report the results of the verification and propose a handling plan to the Ward People's Committee before December 4, 2025".

Second, the People's Committee of the ward assigned the Department of Culture - Society to coordinate with relevant units to synthesize information about the incident, advise on the content of reporting to the Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism and provide information to the press according to regulations.
