Criticize many units for slow execution of judgments after losing lawsuits against people

The People's Committee of Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province has seriously criticized many related units for the slow execution of judgments in a case of losing a lawsuit against the people.

The People's Committee of Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province has just issued a document on the implementation of compensation for teachers whose labor contracts were terminated and the payment of court fees to the State budget.

The District People's Committee seriously criticized the Department of Internal Affairs and the Board of Directors of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Secondary School and Ea Kly Primary School for not complying with the advice to compensate teachers whose labor contracts were terminated and pay court fees as previously directed after the teachers filed a lawsuit and lost the case.

This is a timely and very welcome "corrective" move by the People's Committee of Krong Pac district.

In disputes between parties in labor relations or other fields, when the two parties cannot reach an agreement, bringing the case to court for arbitration is a civilized act and in accordance with the spirit of the rule of law.

In the case between the teachers and the People's Committee of Krong Pac district, it is completely normal that the court ruled in favor of the teachers, because whoever is right will win, regardless of whether it is the government's right or the citizen's right.

However, it would be unusual for the local authorities and schools in this case to delay in enforcing the judgment by compensating the winning party for damages and paying court fees as required by law.

This delay not only violates the principles of execution of judgments but also creates bad public opinion, affecting the image and reputation of local authorities and related schools in the eyes of teachers in particular and people in general.

When the court has rendered a fair and transparent judgment, the government must be the first to comply with the court's decision, even if the outcome is not favorable to it. Deliberate or unintentional delays in the enforcement of judgments raise public questions about the integrity and responsibility of the government in complying with the law.

Second, this delay also prolongs the process of resolving the issues of affected workers, in this case teachers - who have spent a lot of time and effort to claim their rights through legal channels.

The extension will add to the financial and emotional hardship for these workers.

Execution of judgments after losing a lawsuit is not only a legal obligation but also a measure of a civilized and honest government. The government cannot stand above the law and must demonstrate an exemplary role in respecting court decisions.

Timely execution of judgments not only helps the government maintain its reputation but also creates a healthy legal environment, where both the government and the people have clear rights and obligations, equal before the law!
