Immediately after Lao Dong Newspaper published an article reflecting "Dien Bien: Enterprises arbitrarily block roads to new rural communes", local authorities requested the removal.

The People's Committee of Dien Bien District, Dien Bien Province has just sent an official dispatch to the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to clarify the information reported by Lao Dong Newspaper. Accordingly, the car prohibition sign arbitrarily placed by the enterprise was removed immediately after Lao Dong Newspaper reported it.

At the time of inspection, the road passing through the new bridge construction site had been temporarily paved by the enterprise to ensure traffic; around the construction area, barriers were erected and warning signs were placed according to regulations.

"The Lao Dong newspaper's report that "Enterprises arbitrarily blocked roads to new rural communes" before November 11 was completely accurate. Immediately after the Lao Dong newspaper reported, the car prohibition sign arbitrarily placed by the enterprise was removed," the document of the Dien Bien District People's Committee stated.

Receiving the feedback from Lao Dong Newspaper, Dien Bien District People's Committee also directed specialized agencies, Thanh Chan Commune People's Committee and communes where the project passes through to strengthen inspection and community supervision; promptly and fully report and reflect information and content that are still inadequate during the construction process as well as coordination work to the District People's Committee for timely direction and handling.

Previously, on November 11, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article reflecting "Dien Bien: Enterprises arbitrarily block roads to new rural communes".

Accordingly, reflecting to Lao Dong Newspaper, many people in Thanh Chan border commune (Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province) said that for more than a week, traveling has been extremely difficult because businesses have arbitrarily closed the road to build a bridge without taking measures to ensure traffic.

On November 12, the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department sent a document requesting the Dien Bien District People's Committee to clarify the content of the enterprise's arbitrary road closure as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper published on the Lao Dong Electronic Newspaper on November 11, 2024.
