At the end of March, the Lao Dong newspaper had a series of articles reflecting the Pickleball yard in Phuc Loi ward (Long Bien district, Hanoi City) without a construction permit, not through auction of land rental, and violating the National Petroleum Safety corridor.
As noted by the reporter, on April 14, items such as the roof, the frame of the pickleball yard were dismantled but the yard area was still the same, not yet handled. In this area, it is still providing car parking services day and night.
Regarding this issue, on April 14, the People's Committee of Phuc Loi Ward (Long Bien District, Hanoi) sent a written sent to the Lao Dong newspaper, responding to information related to the above article.
According to the document, the People's Committee of Phuc Loi ward expressed his thanks and absorbed the comments from the Lao Dong newspaper, and said that it had conducted inspection, reviews and reported to the People's Committee of Long Bien District.
The People's Committee of the ward confirmed that the land was reflected in Dong (Ao) of the temple gate is a wild land managed by the ward, with an area of 2,695.5m² (part of the planning box D.2/Cl2). From 2012 to now, this land has been bidding for exploitation, but ineffective, leading to abandonment, wasting resources and urban beauty influence.
Therefore, the ward People's Committee has implemented a plan to improve the land combined with encroachment, improve environmental sanitation, and build a sports playground to serve people. The plan is implemented on the basis of improving the existing old project, with clear regulations: If the State needs to recover land, the investor must hand over the ground and not be compensated.
The People's Committee of Phuc Loi ward affirmed that during the implementation process, Phuc Loi ward strictly prohibited the construction of solid works and closely monitor activities within the scope of petrol pipeline corridor.
According to the document sent to the Lao Dong newspaper: Currently, the Hanoi People's Committee is drafting the order and procedures for leasing short -term public land fund under the Land Law 2024 and Decree 102/2024 of the Government. In the spirit of absorbing the reflection of the Lao Dong newspaper, the Ward People's Committee has asked the investor to dismantle the temporary work, waiting for the official instructions from the city to adjust the appropriate plan for the law.
The People's Committee of Phuc Loi ward is committed to continuing to strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the plan, strictly handling violations if any. At the same time, the ward wishes to continue receiving the companion and support from the Lao Dong newspaper in the local development process.
On March 25, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Document No. 1089 to the People's Committee of Long Bien District, conveyed the opinion of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran Sy Thanh City, assigned the People's Committee of Long Bien District to preside over and coordinate with the relevant units to urgently inspect and clarify the information newspaper reflected.
Shortly thereafter, the People's Committee of Long Bien District issued Document No. 647 to report to the Hanoi People's Committee on the inspection and handling of violations of the Pickleball sports ground in the pagoda area. The document clearly stated: The land construction area of Pickleball yard area of the pond area has an area of about 2,700m2; Origin is agricultural land managed by the People's Committee of Phuc Loi ward.
The People's Committee of Long Bien District said that after the Lao Dong newspaper posted a reflection of the operation of the Pickleball sports ground in the pagoda area, the District People's Committee directed the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Economic Department, infrastructure and urban to check the current status of land use; Coordinate with K132 Petroleum Land Enterprises of B12 Petroleum Corporation to identify the petrol pipe protection corridor.
"Up to the end of March 31, 2025, the People's Committee of Phuc Loi ward has dismantled the violating works (Pickleball sports ground) at the above land area.
