On November 30, informing Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, Chairman of Gioi Phien Commune Nguyen Duc Luan said that immediately after receiving the feedback, the authorities came to work with the project construction unit.
"The construction unit explained that this is a sign in an urban area under construction, installed according to approved documents, not a sign of the traffic industry.
"When receiving feedback that the barriers were blocking traffic signs, causing difficulties for road users, the construction unit removed these signs," said the Chairman of Gioi Phien commune.
Previously, on November 26, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article reflecting "Urban area fences in Yen Bai "swallow" traffic signs".
Accordingly, residents of Gioi Phien commune (Yen Bai city) said that for many months now, traffic signs on Au Co street, the section passing through the commune, have been obstructing visibility, posing a potential traffic safety risk for people and vehicles.
The 550-meter-long fence of the Housing Business Construction Investment Project (land fund adjacent to Au Co Street) obscured two directional signs on Au Co Street, through Gioi Phien Commune, Yen Bai City.
Here, the notice about the intersection ahead becomes difficult to recognize, which can easily make people misunderstand that there is only a straight road, increasing the risk of accidents for people and vehicles.
The Housing Business Construction Investment Project (land fund adjacent to Au Street) has the commercial name TNR Stars Yen Bai, located 3 km from Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway and 2 km from National Highway 32C.
The project is invested by Hano-Vid Real Estate Joint Stock Company, built according to the model of a chain of model urban areas, deployed on a land fund with a total area of 38,534 m2, construction density of 50%.
The project is expected to provide the market with about 137 products including 63 shophouses, 65 townhouses and 9 villas with areas ranging from 100 - 250 m2.
