Measles cases are currently being treated at local health centers and general hospitals. There are currently 2,494 cases recovered.
According to the assessment of specialized agencies, the age of measles is mainly from 1 to 5 years old, accounting for 60.07%; children from 6 to 10 years old account for 20.3%.
To effectively prevent and control measles, the Department of Health of Cao Bang province is directing affiliated units to develop a plan and organize the implementation of measles vaccination for children aged 1-10 years in the area to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Strengthen community propaganda on measles, identification and prevention measures, and benefits of vaccination against the disease.
Continue to closely monitor the situation of suspected measles-prone fever epidemics in the province, provide quarantine instructions and care according to regulations to avoid complications and death.
CDC Cao Bang needs to continue to monitor and support the Medical Centers of Bao Lac, Bao Lam, Ha Quang and Nguyen Binh districts in implementing disease prevention and control activities.
