The Ministry of Health has just held a meeting to implement Resolution No. 34/NQ-CP dated February 13, 2025 of the Government on mechanisms and solutions to handle difficulties and problems in the Investment Project to build the two facilities of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital in Ha Nam. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Health Le Duc Luan.
Regarding the issue of human resources for facility 2 of the two hospitals when put into operation, representatives of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital said that they have prepared human resources, and at the same time have a plan to train and train human resources to ensure the quality of medical examination and treatment at facility 2 equivalent to facility 1.
Regarding the accommodation of doctors and nurses working at facility 2, Deputy Minister Le Duc Luan requested the two hospitals to proactively plan accommodation for doctors and medical staff on rotation to ensure human resources for medical examination and treatment here. The Deputy Minister assigned the Project Management Board and the two hospitals to discuss solutions in a proactive spirit.
Regarding the proposals of hospitals related to the financial mechanism of facility 2, Deputy Minister Le Duc Luan assigned the Department of Financial Planning of the Ministry of Health to discuss with relevant units of the Ministry of Finance to agree on a suitable mechanism.
At the same time, the Deputy Minister requested that Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, based on the job position project of facility 2, submit to the Ministry to report and submit to the Ministry a plan on training funding.
On February 13, 2025, the Government issued Resolution No. 34/NQ-CP on mechanisms and solutions to handle difficulties and problems in the Bach Mai Hospital Facility 2 Investment Project and the Viet Duc Friendship Hospital Facility 2 Investment Project, which provided mechanisms and solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, complete construction investment in 2025, put into use Facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital and Facility 2 of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital to serve the people.
Immediately after the Government issued Resolution No. 34/NQ-CP, on the basis of closely following the goals, viewpoints, principles, mechanisms and solutions to handle difficulties and problems mentioned in Resolution No. 34/NQ-CP, the Ministry of Health issued a Plan to implement the Government's Resolution; clearly defining the tasks, deadlines, completion progress, responsibilities of the host agency, unit and coordinating agencies and units in organizing the implementation of Resolution No. 34/NQ-CP.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health has established a Working Group led by the Head of the Ministry to direct the implementation. The Ministry of Health has also closely coordinated with the Ministry of Construction to continue implementing these two projects in accordance with the Government's direction in Resolution No. 34/NQ-CP.
