On the afternoon of April 26, a representative of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital said that immediately after receiving information about the passenger bus accident in Tam Dao (Vinh Phuc) on the same morning, under the direct direction of the Minister of Health, Dr. Duong Duc Hung - Director of the Hospital, immediately sent an out-of-hospital emergency team to rescue.
At Vinh Phuc General Hospital, doctors at Viet Duc Friendship Hospital directly participated in interdisciplinary consultations, clinical examinations, quick assessment of the extent of damage and appointed appropriate emergency treatment options for each case.
According to updated information from Vinh Phuc General Hospital, up to now, the accident has killed 3 people. In addition, many victims were seriously injured, of which 3 cases were transferred to Viet Duc Friendship Hospital for further intensive treatment.
In which, the two patients had crushed limbs, complex prognosis, and the risk of long-term affecting motor function. A patient with a serious leg injury needs urgent Orthopedic surgery.
Currently, the treatment and care of the remaining patients at Vinh Phuc General Hospital is still being urgently carried out, with close professional support from doctors at Viet Duc Friendship Hospital to quickly treat the victims.
According to initial information, on the morning of April 26, a serious traffic accident occurred on the way to Tam Dao town, Vinh Phuc province. The passenger bus with license plate 29F-059... to Km19 (Ho Son commune, Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province) lost its brakes and overturned.
At the scene, the passenger car was leaning towards the end of the slope out of the main road, the windshield and many windows were damaged. About 20m of the road railing was also stabbed.
