Handling violations of advertising green vegetable replacement foods
The Kera vegetable candy product advertised on social networking platforms shows signs of violating food advertising, causing public outrage.
The online community is fiercely controversial regarding the quality and advertising of Kera vegetable candy products on livestream sessions (live broadcast) of social media accounts Hang Du acc and Quang Linh Vlogs. The product is a combination between Chi Em rot Group Joint Stock Company and the girl "Ken Rau" - Miss Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien.
Regarding this issue, on March 6, the Department of Food Safety also sent a document to the Institute of Nutrition to provide research information related to the need for human fiber.
The Food Safety Department said that recently, on social platforms, there was a problem of providing fiber to the human body through fiber-based candy products, which has stirred up public opinion about the concept of only using fiber through dietary supplements without or limiting the use of fiber from green vegetable products and other foods.

The Director of the Department of Food Safety requested the Nutrition Institute to speak on mass media about the need for fiber for the body so that people can understand and use it correctly.
Regarding some celebrities and influential people in society, people advertising Kera vegetable candy products violated regulations on some websites, Facebook, Tiktok...
