Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Lak province - has just inspected the implementation of health check-ups and screening for people at Tay Nguyen University Hospital and Cu Kuin Medical Center.
Participating in the working delegation were Mr. Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, departments, branches and related localities.
At Tay Nguyen University Hospital, where examinations are organized for people in Ea Kao ward, and Cu Kuin Medical Center, where examinations are organized for people in Ea Ktur commune, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet surveyed the organization, reception, and guidance of people; and exchanged about the progress, number of people who have been examined, advantages, difficulties, and the review of participants.
Through inspection, the Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee noted that the program must ensure the true spirit of people's health care, prioritizing those who have not been examined in the year, especially groups with difficult access to health services.
Examination should not be done mechanically, requiring people to go to a certain medical facility. Localities need to review to determine whether people have been examined or not. Cases that have been examined at other medical facilities or through socialization programs, health check-up campaigns need to be updated with information, avoiding duplicate examinations.
Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized that the two goals of the program are to ensure that each citizen has health check-ups at least once a year and gradually complete electronic health records. Statistical and review work needs to be implemented practically from residential groups, villages, hamlets, and residential areas.

According to the Department of Health, as of August 8, 2026, 102/102 communes and wards have issued periodic health check-ups or screening plans; 46/102 communes and wards have organized check-ups for 16,203 people. The Provincial Center for Disease Control has screened for hypertension and assessed cardiovascular risk for 42,659 people.

The health sector continues to coordinate with localities to standardize the list, avoid duplication; strengthen professional guidance, mobilize personnel and mobilize non-public medical examination and treatment facilities and military medical facilities to participate. The province strives to basically complete health check-ups for people in October 2026; in November and December, it will review and supplement the remaining cases.
