Captain Thai Ba An, Deputy Political Commissar and Captain of the Mass Mobilization Team, Hon Son Border Guard Station (An Giang) said that the unit had just supported the burial of a local resident in Thien Tue Hamlet, Kien Hai Special Zone. The deceased was Mr. N.V.Q, born in 2019, hometown Hau Giang province (now Can Tho).
It is known that Mr. Q and the unit have maintained and implemented the "Family Vegetable Garden Model" since 2021. Due to a serious illness, he did not survive.
Captain Thai Ba An said that Mr. Q lived alone (not admitted by family and relatives) and was in difficult circumstances, without any assets.
When Mr. Q passed away, no one took care of the burial, no one burned incense. In the face of the above situation, the unit and the surrounding people organized a worship and funeral. The unit also sent 7 comrades of cadres and soldiers to participate in organizing the funeral.
