Speaking at the program, Colonel Kieu Manh Hiep - Deputy Political Commissar of Hai Phong City Border Guard Command - emphasized: "Border Spring, Warm Hearts of Coastal People" is an annual activity of the City Border Guard Command every Tet holiday, Spring comes, imbued with deep humanity, practically responding to the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - Not leaving anyone behind".
The program also concretizes the guidelines, policies and policies of the Party, State, Ministry of National Defense, Border Guard Command and City Party Committee, City People's Committee on social security work. Thereby, strengthening solidarity, military-civilian bonding, further embellishing the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, building a solid people's heart formation, promoting comprehensive strength in performing the task of protecting national border sovereignty and security in the new situation.
During the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, the Hai Phong City Border Guard Command and units will simultaneously organize the program "Border Spring, Warm Hearts of Coastal People", contributing to caring for the lives of people in difficult circumstances in the coastal border area of the city".

At the program, Trang Cat Border Guard Station coordinated with Hai An and Dong Hai wards to present 40 gifts and 1 support fund to repair the "House of Love" house with a total value of 38 million VND to policy families, families in difficult circumstances and students in the "Leaving Children to School" program in the area.
In addition to social security activities, the program also organizes medical examinations, free medicine distribution for people and unique cultural activities such as wrapping banh chung, throwing con, and sap dance. Thereby, bringing a meaningful early Tet atmosphere to people in coastal border areas.
