Implementing the "Saturday to the Village" Plan, taking advantage of favorable weather days, Border Guard Stations under the Border Guard Command of Quang Tri province simultaneously deployed forces to the fields to help people harvest the 2026 Winter-Spring rice crop.
In Ruc Lan field, Kim Phu commune, from May 8 to 10, 10 officers and soldiers of Ca Xeng Border Guard Station directly went to the fields with Ruc ethnic people to harvest rice. The golden rice grains collected are the result of more than 3 months of soldiers and people sowing and caring together.
The urgent and close working atmosphere between border guards and people in remote areas has created a beautiful image in the border area.
For the Bru Van Kieu people in Huong Lap commune, Huong Lap Border Guard Station also organized for officers and soldiers to rotate to villages and hamlets to support people in harvesting rice.

For many years, in each planting or harvesting season, the unit has maintained forces sticking to the area to help people complete the crop in the earliest time, limiting damage caused by thunderstorms and tornadoes.
At the sea border line, the blue shirt of officers and soldiers of Trieu Van Border Guard Station blends with the yellow color on the fields of village 7, Nam Cua Viet commune. Despite the hot weather, officers and soldiers still actively support people in harvesting rice during the weekend holidays.
According to border guards, the joy and excitement of the people after each crop season is the motivation for the unit to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Along with supporting rice harvesting, Ra Mai, Ca Roong, Ba Nang Border Guard Stations and Gianh Port Border Guard Station also deployed forces to the area to help the government and people clean up the environment, renovate community houses and village and hamlet landscapes.
In addition, the units also coordinated with charitable organizations and individuals to award livelihood models to support difficult households, and at the same time presented many gifts to poor students overcoming difficulties in border areas.
