On September 5, Colonel Lai Van Tuan, TVBTV, Political Commissar of the 16th Corps, was authorized by the Party Committee and Command of the 16th Corps to be the Head of the delegation, attending the opening ceremony in Quang Truc commune (Lam Dong).
At Bu Purang Secondary School, the working group of the 16th Corps presented 46 tables and 92 chairs to students with a total value of 60 million VND.
Bu Purang Secondary School is located in a border commune, so the facilities and equipment for teaching and learning are still difficult and lacking.
Most of the school's students are children of ethnic minorities and have especially difficult circumstances.
This year, the number of students studying at the school has increased, but the facilities have not guaranteed the implementation of teaching 2 sessions/day.
Therefore, the 16th Corps' donation of the above tables and chairs will contribute to better service for teaching and learning.
Colonel Lai Van Tuan, Political Commissar of the 16th Corps, said: "We hope to contribute to creating more favorable conditions for teachers and students of the school in teaching. From there, help them strive to become good children and good students. This also demonstrates the precious spirit and tradition of mutual love of the nation; the concern of the Youth Union, Party committees and local authorities for students and schools in the residential area".
On the same day, the working group visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the teacher and students of Sao Mai Kindergarten (Army Corps 726) on the occasion of the opening of the new school year.
Sao Mai Kindergarten currently has one main school and 3 small schools in villages and hamlets in Quang Truc and Tuy Duc communes, associated with the production teams of Regiment 726, Army Corps 16. This year, Sao Mai Kindergarten welcomed nearly 200 children to school.
In the past school year, thanks to the attention of the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Command, the Political Department of the 16th Corps, with the support of local authorities, parents and the efforts of cadres and teachers, the school has successfully completed the tasks of the school year.
In the coming school year, the school will continue to improve the quality of teaching and learning, strive to excellently complete tasks, becoming a bright spot in preschool education in border communes in particular and Lam Dong province in general.
