In the work of combat readiness and natural disaster prevention, 234 officers and soldiers were sent to participate in fighting forest fires and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters; Advise and support border districts to develop training documents for provincial and district defense areas.

Coordinated with forces to arrest and handle 837 cases with a total of 1,016 drug subjects; Evidence confiscated 279,973kg of heroin, 3,222,535 synthetic drug pills, 48.28kg of opium, 110kg of meth and many related evidence.

With outstanding achievements, in the period 2019 - 2024, Dien Bien Border Guard has 26 collectives and 35 individuals recognized as comprehensively advanced examples; 26 collectives and 48 individuals were recognized as exemplary leaders in each aspect of their work.

At the congress, 3 groups and 7 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Border Guard Command and Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to win.
