On August 22, leaders of the Border Guard Command of Khanh Hoa province organized working delegations to visit, give gifts, and encourage students in difficult circumstances in the "Raising Steps for Children to School - Foster Children of Border Guard Stations" Program.
At the families, leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command visited and inquired about the learning and living conditions of the children and their families; praised their efforts and striving to overcome difficulties and rise up in their studies.
Leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command also encouraged the children to continue to nurture their dreams, strive to study, train, become good children, good students, and useful citizens for society.
On this occasion, many practical gifts were given to the children before the new school year, showing the feelings, responsibility and concern and sharing of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard for students in difficult circumstances in the coastal border area. Thereby, contributing to adding faith and motivation for the children to firmly go to school.
In the 2025 - 2026 school year, agencies and units under the Provincial Border Guard Command sponsored and supported 58 students in difficult circumstances in the "Raising Steps for Children to School - Foster Children of Border Guard Stations" Program.
At the end of the school year, 6 students achieved the title of excellent student, 15 students achieved excellent student and 37 students achieved good student. Notably, 6 students passed the entrance exams to universities and colleges.
The above results show the meaning of the program in accompanying and supporting students in difficult circumstances. At the same time, spreading the image of green-uniformed soldiers always sharing and caring for the young generation in border and island areas.
