Border Guards award scholarships to students on opening day

Meaningful scholarships were awarded to poor border students in Dak Nong province on the occasion of the new school year opening .

On the morning of September 5, joining the atmosphere of the opening day of the new school year 2024 - 2025, the Dak Nong Provincial Border Guard Command organized the awarding of scholarships "Helping you go to school - Adopted children of the Border Guard Station"; "Godmother" to students with difficult circumstances in the border area.

At Nguyen Hue Secondary School (Thuan An Commune, Dak Mil District), the Dak Nong Provincial Border Guard Command awarded 24 scholarships for the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. Each gift worth 3 million VND is for students in difficult circumstances.

On the same day, the Dak Nong Border Guard Command and other Border Guard units along the entire border of the province organized 24 delegations to attend the opening ceremony of the new school year at 24 schools in the Dak Nong border area.

At the locations, the border guards organized the awarding of 60 scholarships "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of Border Guard Station" and the "Godmother" program of the Provincial Border Guard Women's Association in the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year.

The program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of Border Guard Station"; "Godmother" implemented by the Provincial Border Guard Command has brought about practical results and profound humanistic meanings.

The event not only helps those in difficult circumstances and improves people's knowledge, but also contributes to strengthening solidarity between border guards and people living in border areas. Thereby, contributing to building a people's border defense, firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security.
