On March 28, the Military Command of Da Nang City held a conference to approve the plan to mobilize forces to participate in the construction of 6 inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in land border communes in the city. According to the plan, 6 working teams were established. The composition includes officers and soldiers of the standing army and militia and self-defense forces. The teams directly support the construction unit at 6 school projects. The key task is to coordinate to ensure progress, participate in tasks suitable to the actual conditions at the construction site. The force is ready to be reinforced when required, contributing to the units completing the set goals.
The construction of multi-level boarding schools in border areas is of great significance. The project helps improve learning and living conditions for students in mountainous areas. At the same time, it creates a foundation to improve the quality of education in difficult areas. This is also a long-term solution to narrow the gap in access to education between regions.
Currently, the city is focusing on removing obstacles in site clearance, materials and organizing construction. Relevant units are closely coordinating to accelerate progress. The goal is to complete the projects before August 30, 2026.
Leaders of the City Military Command affirmed that the mobilization of forces to participate in building schools demonstrates the pioneering role of the armed forces. This activity contributes to consolidating the people's hearts and strengthening the military-civilian linkage in the border area. The coordination between the army, local authorities and construction units is expected to create a clear change in progress.
When completed, boarding schools will serve the long-term cause of education. The project not only meets learning needs but also contributes to stabilizing population and socio-economic development in the border area.
