On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Military Command of Da Nang City organized the program "Spring of Solidarity - Tet filled with military-civilian affection".
This is an annual activity of the City Military Command, aimed at caring for the material and spiritual life of people in remote, isolated, and difficult areas. This year, the program is organized in Tra Tap commune, with a series of activities taking place in 2 days, February 4 and 5.
Within the framework of the program, the City Military Command and accompanying units presented a total of more than 500 gifts to subjects in the area, including 20 gifts for women in difficult circumstances; 460 gifts for policy families, people with meritorious services, and households in difficult circumstances; 10 gifts for officers and soldiers of the militia in difficult circumstances; 10 scholarships for poor students overcoming difficulties and 2 gifts for typical policy families.
Along with that, the military medical force coordinated to organize free health check-ups and consultations, and dispense medicine to more than 200 people, contributing to community health care.
In addition to gift-giving activities, the program also implements many meaningful contents such as donating the project "Lighting up rural roads", wrapping banh chung, traditional Tet cakes, cultural and artistic exchanges, and propaganda and dissemination of laws to the people.
