On the occasion of Sene Dolta festival in 2025, Can Tho city will organize many activities to honor traditional culture and care for the lives of the Khmer people.
It is expected that 19 delegations led by leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, National Assembly Delegation, and representatives of departments, branches, sectors and related units will visit, congratulate and give gifts.
The delegations will visit former leaders of central ministries, departments and branches who are Khmer; dignitaries, monks, prestigious people in the community; Khmer families of policy beneficiaries, pensioners; a number of Khmer Buddhist pagodas, along with organizations and individuals who have contributed to ethnic work and built great national unity. In total, there will be 68 organizations, units and 61 families and individuals visited.
In addition to the visiting activities, the city also organizes a live TV show with the theme: "Celebrating Sene Dolta 2025 - Solidarity, innovation, integration and development". These activities not only help the Khmer people celebrate in a joyful, safe and economical atmosphere but also contribute to preserving and promoting the good traditional cultural values of the nation.
Through a series of activities, Can Tho city also propagates the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws, while encouraging Khmer people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the overall development of the city.
