Cao Bang receives the handover of 112 motorbikes to 56 Commune-level Military Commands

Cao Bang and Dien Bien are the two localities that received the handover of motorbikes to the Commune-level Military Command the earliest in the country.

On August 23, at the Cao Bang Provincial Military Command, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering held a conference to hand over the 2-wheeled motorbike to the Commune-level Military Command in the area.

Attending the program were Major General Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Deputy Political Commissar of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering; Major General Dam Minh Tuan - Deputy Commander of Military Region 1; Mr. Hoang Van Thach - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Provincial Military Command.

On this occasion, 112 motorbikes were handed over to the Military Commands of 56 communes and wards of the province. Cao Bang and Dien Bien are the first two localities in the country to receive vehicles for work at the grassroots level, each unit is granted 2 vehicles.

Units in Cao Bang province were granted a total of 112 vehicles. The selected types of vehicles are durable and suitable for terrain conditions.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Dam Minh Tuan affirmed that providing motorbikes to the Commune-level Military Command is a timely policy, helping to improve work efficiency, and at the same time requested units to use, manage, and maintain vehicles in accordance with regulations, promoting long-term value.

After the conference, the working delegation of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering offered incense at the National Historical Site "Memory Site of President Ho Chi Minh with the Military Vehicle - Machinery Industry" in Bach Dang commune and presented gifts to 50 policy families and households in difficult circumstances in the commune.
