On the occasion of the Vu Lan festival in 2026, on the afternoon of August 25, a working delegation of Ca Mau Provincial Police led by Colonel Le Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, visited and congratulated religious and belief establishments in the area.
The delegation visited and congratulated the Management Board of Ba Thien Hau Temple; Hai Nam Co Mieu Management Board, also in An Xuyen ward; Venerable Thach Ha, former Head of the Management Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ca Mau province, Standing Vice Chairman of the Association for Solidarity with Patriotic Monks of Ca Mau province, Abbot of Monivongsa Pagoda; Venerable Huu Nhieu, Member of the Management Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ca Mau province, Member of the Executive Committee of the Association for Solidarity with Patriotic Monks of Ca Mau province, Abbot of Gach Giong Pagoda, Ho Thi Ky commune.
At the venues, Colonel Le Manh Hung sent congratulations to dignitaries, officials, prestigious people and believers on the occasion of Vu Lan festival; and acknowledged the contributions of religious and belief establishments in social security work, taking care of people's lives, building a cultural lifestyle and maintaining security and order.
Colonel Le Manh Hung wished that dignitaries, officials, and prestigious people would continue to promote their role as a bridge between the government and the police force with religious compatriots; mobilize dignitaries, believers and people to comply with the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State, and actively participate in the movement "All people protect national security".
The dignitaries and officials thanked the attention of Ca Mau Provincial Police, and affirmed that they will continue to mobilize dignitaries and believers to live a good life, a beautiful religion, unite, comply with the law and participate in activities to ensure security and order in the locality.
Regular meetings, visits, and listening to the thoughts and aspirations of dignitaries, officials, and prestigious people contribute to consolidating the relationship between the police force and the people. Through this, policies to ensure security and order are widely spread, and issues arising from the grassroots level are promptly exchanged and resolved, contributing to preventing risks affecting security and order.
The Vu Lan festival is also an opportunity to foster solidarity and fraternity, strengthen the companionship between the police force and dignitaries, officials and religious people, contributing to building a peaceful and developed homeland of Ca Mau.
